Position Summary
We are looking for a visionary Director of Clinical Education to join a team building the next generation of digital learning. This is an unparalleled opportunity to make an impact on students far beyond the walls of a single medical school. To be successful in this role, you are first and foremost an educator with experience teaching at the medical student level. You have relevant clinical practice experience and comfort thinking across disciplines. You’re an innovative thinker, excited to be at the bleeding edge of technology and education. Finally, you’re a strong manager and leader who is able to oversee a large team of both freelance and full-time employees in the development of an expansive clinical learning program.
Sketchy is hiring remote employees in these select US states: California, Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah and Washington!
Responsibilities:
Content Production
- Collaborate on the vision: Work with the leadership team to drive strategy and execution of clinical content development, including lessons, interactive cases, and assessments
- Set the bar high: Define and manage success metrics for content accuracy, efficacy, and engagement
- Build your dream team: Recruit and onboard world-class Faculty Authors and Subject Matter Experts to help build the foundation for our clinical content
- Be a student champion: Stay relentlessly student-centric, finding innovative ways to understand and meet their needs
Business Management
- Own the process: Manage a high-performing team to deliver excellent content on schedule.
- Plan ahead: Develop a rolling content calendar that keeps students excited and engaged
- Drive growth: Use data analytics to identify opportunities that add the most value to our programs
Cross-functional Leadership
- Collaborate and innovate: Work with our product team to enhance the student learning experience with new features
- Be the expert: Support our sales and marketing teams with your clinical knowledge
- Shine on stage: Represent Sketchy at national conferences, showcasing our authority and credibility
Requirements:
Experience & Education
- MD/DO degree: You're a doctor with a passion for education
- Medical education: 5+ years in medical education or curriculum design and development
- Clinical practice: 3+ years of post-training clinical experience
- Leadership skills: 3+ years managing teams, including remote and distributed groups
Skills & Mindset
- Technology enthusiast: Interested (and ideally experienced) in leveraging generative AI tools in innovative ways
- Master communicator: Exceptional at mentoring, coaching, and inspiring others
- Entrepreneurial spirit: Always seeking to improve processes, not just follow them
- Problem solver: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Passionate educator: Eager to teach, learn, and make a positive impact on the world

Salary Range
$160,000-$200,000
