Position Summary
As a User Researcher, you will help uncover the needs and challenges of our users—including students and faculty—by conducting user research that directly informs the development of our educational solutions. Your work will contribute to shaping immersive, intuitive, and impactful products that prepare students for real-world scenarios. By conducting user interviews, usability tests, and evaluative research, you’ll ensure our features and solutions effectively meet user needs. Responsibilities:
- Lead user research initiatives to uncover the needs, behaviors, and challenges of students, faculty, and other stakeholders across the educational journey.
- Develop and execute research plans using methods such as user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and observational studies to gather insights.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to prioritize research efforts based on business objectives and user impact.
- Translate research findings into clear, actionable recommendations that influence product and feature design decisions.
- Conduct ongoing usability evaluations to ensure products remain intuitive and aligned with user needs.
- Maintain an organized repository of research findings to ensure insights are accessible and reusable across teams.
- Advocate for the user by fostering a culture of empathy and evidence-based decision-making within the organization.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience conducting user research with a focus on usability testing, needs discovery, and evaluative research.
- Experience in the ed-tech or health-tech space is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize data from diverse sources into compelling insights that drive product improvements.
- Proven ability to plan and execute a variety of research methodologies, such as interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate findings to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of tools and frameworks for user research, including usability testing software and data analysis platforms.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously.
- Empathy for users, a curious mindset, and a passion for improving the user experience.

Salary Range
$120,000-$140,000
