Key Responsibilities

At SplashLearn, we are looking for a passionate and talented Game Developer to join our dynamic team and help create amazing educational games! As a Game Developer, you will be responsible for:

• Develop engaging games based on Game and Level Design Documents.
• Collaborate with Game Designers to algorithmically generate levels.
• Own the technical aspects of the game, including implementing core game mechanics, art, and animation.
• Optimize game code for performance, quality, and responsiveness across multiple platforms.
• Write modular, reusable code to create efficient components.
• Build quick prototypes for new game ideas and concepts.
• Solve complex problems with solid algorithms.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in at least one programming language.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a good grasp of algorithms.
• Experience in game development and a keen eye for game mechanics and optimization.
  
  

Bonus Skills (Brownie Points)

• Experience building games for mobile or web platforms.
• Familiarity with Design Patterns and techniques in game development.
• Experience with 2D game engines like Phaser, Unity2D, Cocos2d-x, Cocos2d-js, etc.
