- Build robust analyses to evaluate the impact of product features, analyze business performance, and inform strategic product decisions.
- Analyze complex user data to distill pain points into actionable product solutions (i.e., Product Requirement Documents (PRDs))
- Shape the product vision, roadmap, and prioritization process; actively drive sprint-planning sessions.
- Generate innovative ideas for new features and products, prioritizing initiatives based on company objectives and data-driven insights
- Lead key projects from conception to execution, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
- Provide transparent communication of progress, roadblocks, and solutions to key stakeholders (from team members to executive leadership).
- Demonstrate learner-centric empathy in all endeavors, creating an exceptional learning experience.
- Explore and manage potential partnerships with relevant industry players to drive product growth and innovation.
- Stay up to date on emerging industry trends and best practices to inform product strategies.
- Conduct targeted ad-hoc analyses to answer big ambiguous questions in response to specific business needs and challenges.

- Thoroughly grasp complex business and technical issues to plan, prioritize, and organize solutions strategically.
- Hands-on experience in grooming product backlogs and managing conflicting requirements.
- Solid technical background with practical experience in software development and web technologies.
- Communicate effectively through superior verbal and written skills, translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrate proficiency in relevant technologies and digital design principles to drive innovation.
- Apply superior problem-solving and analytical skills to define and decompose product KPIs and metrics.
- Assess value, develop use cases, and prioritize features to align with overarching product strategy.
- Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle with autonomy and precision.
- Cultivate strong interpersonal relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Approach problem-solving with a hypothesis-driven, action-oriented mentality.
- Leverage outstanding data analysis skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL, to inform decision-making.
- Deploy quantitative and qualitative insights to develop, plan, and prioritize ideas effectively.
- Passion for solving problems in the education sector.
Work Experience:
- 3+ years of software product management, management consulting, or equivalent experience is preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant field.
Other:
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Typical office setting.
- Mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor.
- Travel via plane, car, and metro may be required to perform this job.
- Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant.
- Access information using a computer.
- Effectively communicate, both up and down the management chain.
- Effectively cope with stressful situations.
- Strong mental acuity.
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.
