The Content Specialist, AI Strategy and Generation role at Study.com involves leveraging AI to create impactful educational content while proactively improving processes. This position plays a key role in enhancing the quality of our content, optimizing workflows through AI-driven tools, and developing engaging materials that align with our mission to make learning accessible, accurate, and impactful.
The contractor will be expected to work during Study.com's Pacific Time business hours Monday through Friday. Additionally, they will need to use their own computer and have reliable access to high-speed internet.
What You'll Do
- Use AI tools to generate and refine a wide variety of educational content, including lessons, quizzes, essay questions, scripts, and course outlines.
- Strategically balance the use of AI tools with human expertise, ensuring that content creation leverages the strengths of AI while incorporating subject matter experts where needed for accuracy, nuance, and quality.
- Leverage AI tools to identify weak points or inaccuracies in existing content and implement solutions to enhance quality, accuracy, and engagement.
- Develop and optimize AI prompts for scalable use, ensuring efficiency and alignment with content needs.
- Explore and experiment with new ways to integrate AI into workflows, sharing insights and recommendations with the team.
- Take full ownership of assigned projects, including production rates, identifying and addressing obstacles, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Clearly communicate project updates, obstacles, and resource needs to stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
What You'll Bring to the Role
- Proven experience using AI tools for content creation, analysis, and optimization.
- Strong ability to build and refine AI prompts for scalable use.
- Experience creating diverse types of content, such as lessons, quizzes, scripts, and course outlines.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a demonstrated ability to own and manage projects.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for staying up-to-date on AI developments and incorporating new tools and strategies into workflows.
- Prior experience in the edtech industry or educational content development.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
