As a Financial Analyst at Study.com, you’ll play a key role in driving the company’s success by delivering actionable insights through financial and operational analysis and reporting. You’ll be part of a small, high-impact team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Finance while partnering closely with business leaders across the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working on multiple projects simultaneously, and feels confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels of leadership.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the budget-planning cycle for revenue and expenses, including annual plans, re-forecasts, monthly close, variance analysis, and monthly executive and board reports
- Collaborate with Accounting to ensure timely and accurate financial close entries
- Operate as an AI-first financial analyst. User of AI tools and plugins to drive efficiency and results in your role, including ChatGPT, Claude, Shortcut AI, Prophix One FP&A Plus, AI Agents and others
- Create intuitive analytic tools, reports, spreadsheets, and models that synthesize multiple data sources into actionable business insights
- Partner with department leaders to analyze drivers, trends, and opportunities providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations
- Conduct ad hoc analysis of global operations and present findings to senior management to support strategic decision-making
- Manage Prophix (CPM tool), including system maintenance and updates
- Proactively identify and implement innovative process improvements to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of planning and analysis activities
What You’ll Bring to this Role:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5-7 years of professional experience in corporate finance roles
- Collaborative mindset with strong verbal and written skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- AI-first experience – you use AI first to solve problems before trying it any other way
- Familiarity with CPM tools preferred (e.g., Prophix, Adaptive Insights)
- Python or other coding experience, including Cursor or Claude Code a plus
- B2C SaaS industry experience required
