We're looking for a creative, organized, and self-driven marketing intern to become an extension of both our internal marketing team and the marketing teams of the districts we serve.
This isn't your average social media internship. You'll help real school districts attract families, increase enrollment, and tell their stories through digital marketing campaigns that make an impact.

As our Marketing Coordinator / Social Media Intern, you'll work directly with Subject's marketing team while supporting K–12 district partners by creating and executing enrollment marketing campaigns for their virtual schools powered by Subjects curriculum.
Responsibilities include:
- Create static graphics and short-form videos for Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
- Assist in developing enrollment marketing campaigns for school districts
- Write engaging social media copy tailored to families and prospective students
- Coordinate campaign calendars across multiple district partners
- Repurpose existing content into fresh social media assets
- Help launch and monitor paid Meta campaigns
- Track campaign performance and provide simple reports with insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with school administrators to gather success stories, photos, and content
- Stay current on social media trends and recommend new creative ideas
- Support additional marketing projects across Subject as needed
What We're Looking For
- Current college student or recent graduate studying Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field
- Strong understanding of Instagram and Facebook best practices
- Comfortable creating content in Canva (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus)
- Familiarity with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or other video editing tools
- Excellent written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-starter who enjoys juggling multiple projects
- Passion for education, storytelling, and helping schools grow
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience managing social media accounts
- Graphic design skills
- Photography or videography skills
- Basic understanding of marketing analytics
- Portfolio of social media or design work
What You'll Gain
- Hands-on experience managing marketing campaigns for real K–12 schools across the country
- Exposure to digital advertising, enrollment marketing, and brand strategy
- Mentorship from an experienced marketing team
- Opportunity to build a professional portfolio with meaningful, real-world work
- Experience working directly with school leaders and district partners
- Potential opportunity for future full-time employment
Ideal Candidate
