About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented LMS Administrator to play a key role in managing and optimizing our client's Learning Management System. You'll be instrumental in ensuring a seamless and effective learning experience for all users, with a particular focus on maximizing the capabilities of Workday LMS. You'll work closely with various teams to provide training, support, and strategic insights, contributing directly to the success of their learning initiatives.
Timeline: Starting ASAP for 6 months to one year.
Hours: 40 hours per week. 3 days on-site (Pittsburgh, Dallas, Houston, El Paso, or Phoenix), 2 days remote
Hourly Rate: $40/h
This is an hourly W2 Contract.
*Background checks and the review and signature of client policies and procedures are required.
Responsibilities
- Content Management: Efficiently upload, organize, and maintain all courses and curricula within the LMS, ensuring content is always current and relevant.
- User Experience Enhancement: Design and implement new features and functionalities to continuously improve the LMS user experience, simplifying navigation and streamlining processes for maximum usability.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate insightful reports and create interactive dashboards using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and/or Looker. You'll analyze LMS data to track usage, identify trends, and measure the overall effectiveness of learning programs.
- Training & Support: Deliver comprehensive training to various teams on how to effectively utilize the LMS. You'll also provide ongoing, responsive support to instructors and business units, troubleshooting issues and assisting with course delivery.
- Coordination & Administration: Coordinate and schedule training sessions and events, manage LMS calendars, and ensure timely course enrollment.
- System Integrity & Compliance: Perform regular clean-up and maintenance of course materials. Conduct thorough audits of the LMS to ensure data integrity, compliance with relevant regulations, and implement corrective actions for any findings.
Requirements:
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as an LMS Administrator, with a strong preference for those who have worked extensively with Workday LMS.
- Workday Expertise: Solid understanding of Workday, especially its Learning Management System capabilities.
- LMS Best Practices: In-depth knowledge of LMS functionalities, administration, and best practices.
- Data Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and/or Looker.
- Adaptability: The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and evolving system features.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Self-Starter: An independent self-starter who can troubleshoot issues and find effective solutions with minimal direction.
- Organization: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Skills
- Experience in aviation, utilities, manufacturing, autonomous vehicles, or transportation
- Professional Certifications (Workday LMS)
