The Healthcare Workforce Partnerships Manager serves as a strategic advisor by engaging with the Healthcare Partnership Managers, Managing Directors, and full Healthcare Solutions team to identify employer focused strategies to advance nursing and healthcare academic programs. This role leads the development, implementation, and scaling of workforce strategies that bridge healthcare employers, academic institutions, and community organizations to meet critical talent needs especially across nursing, allied health, and emerging care professions.
This individual brings passion for human-centered design, data-informed decision-making, and collaborative leadership to create programs and pathways that improve access, equity, and sustainability within the healthcare talent ecosystem.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Workforce Development
- Design, manage, and evaluate healthcare workforce development initiatives that drive solutions for employers.
- Partner with healthcare employers, associations, and workforce boards to identify skill gaps, create talent pipelines, and design upskilling or apprenticeship pathways.
- Support the implementation of pre-licensure through post-licensure programs with workforce development strategies, ensuring alignment with industry needs, workforce trends, in collaboration with the nursing HCOE and healthcare partnership managers
Partnership & Ecosystem Engagement
- Serve as a key liaison with hospital systems, healthcare employers, and education partners to strengthen collaborations and ensure effective program delivery.
- Collaborate with workforce agencies, workforce intermediaries, and community partners to find grants, funding, and shared initiatives that advance regional workforce goals.
- Represent Risepoint at national and regional workforce events, panels, and roundtables to promote the organization’s thought leadership.
Data & Program Evaluation
- Use workforce data and analytics through Lightcast to determine key performance indicators, assess impact, measure outcomes, and inform continuous improvement of workforce programs.
- Create reports, dashboards, and presentations that demonstrate program success and ROI to partners and leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams including Product, Student Success, and Marketing to ensure workforce strategies are seamlessly integrated across functions.
- Participate in the Prelicensure Operating Committee and other internal forums to advance innovation and coordination across nursing and healthcare programs as a subject matter expert in workforce development.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, education, workforce development, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience:
5+ years of experience in healthcare workforce development, employer partnerships, higher education, or related fields.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
- Proven success in managing cross-sector collaborations, including healthcare employers, educators, and workforce agencies.
- Strong understanding of national healthcare workforce challenges and emerging models such as apprenticeship degrees and competency-based learning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in an extraordinarily fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Understanding of business development principles.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Understanding of US higher education trends preferred.
