About the Role
Teachers of Tomorrow is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented entry-level People & Culture Coordinator to support our People & Culture team. This is an entry-level role with broad exposure across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee support, HR operations, and recruiting coordination.
You’ll play a key role in keeping our HR processes running smoothly while helping create a positive and seamless experience for both candidates and employees.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in Human Resources and gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of HR.
What You'll Do
HR Operations & Employee Support
- Maintain employee records, HR files, and data within HR systems
- Respond to employee and manager questions in a timely and professional manner
- Support HR processes including documentation, compliance tracking, and audits
- Assist with maintaining HR policies, templates, and process documentation
Recruiting Coordination (20%-25%)
- Post job openings and maintain roles within the applicant tracking system
- Schedule interviews and manage candidate communication
- Assist with resume review and candidate tracking
- Support offer preparation, background checks, and pre-employment steps
- Help ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including communication, paperwork, and system setup
- Partner with hiring managers and IT to ensure new hires are ready for their first day
- Assist with offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates
- Help coordinate orientation sessions and new hire communications
Engagement & Team Support
- Support employee engagement activities, internal events, and surveys
- Assist with People & Culture initiatives and special projects
- Help maintain a positive and responsive HR presence across the organization
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support (internships count)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a professional, responsive approach
- Comfort working with systems, tools, and administrative processes
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
