About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior React Developer to join our growing team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to lead our migration from AngularJS 1.X to React. Our current tech stack is built in AngularJS, Node.js, Express.js, and MySQL. You will play a crucial role in architecting and implementing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable web applications. Working closely with our cross-functional team, you will contribute to delivering an exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of Test Innovators' tech stack from AngularJS to React
• Design and implement user interfaces using React.js best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code
• Adjust how the build pipeline is working, as necessary
• Mentor and guide junior developers
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of front-end Javascript experience
• 5+ years of React experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
• Successful completion of a React migration
• In-depth knowledge of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with backend libraries such as Express and familiarity with Node.js
• While this is not a full-stack position, strong back-end familiarity would be preferred
• Knowledge of AngularJS
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, Jotai or the built-in React state management solutions
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Strong understanding of web performance and optimization techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
