Position Summary
The Franchise Licensing Specialist works with the Franchise Licensing Manager to manage and maintain franchise agreements and franchise-related documents, ensuring compliance with Goddard Systems, LLC policies and legal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all franchise transactions comply with franchising disclosure laws .
- Review, draft and execute franchise agreements, amendments, and related documents throughout the franchise life cycle.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all franchise agreements and related documents.
- Serve as a point of contact for franchisees, internal departments, and external stakeholders regarding franchise agreement-related matters.
- Coordinate with franchisees to ensure timely and accurate completion of all contractual updates.
- Monitor key compliance requirements, deadlines, and progress of transactions.
- Maintain a detailed tracking mechanism to monitor, track and report on the progress of all transactions at any given time.
- Gather, receive and review appropriate documentation relating to the franchisee or franchisee’s legal entity, including changes or modifications.
- Review all documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Facilitate the processing, documentation and assignment for transfers of franchise ownership.
- Process and deliver completed documentation to the appropriate parties.
- Ensure timely and accurate updates to CRM related to franchise agreements.
- Communicate effectively with franchisees, various departments and stakeholders regarding contract status
- Assist with the annual updates of, and amendments, to the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) for The Goddard School franchise system, including state registrations
- Identify and implement improvements to contract administration processes and tracking systems.

Experience
- At least 2 years of prior experience working with legal agreements or in contract administration is required.
- At least 2 years of prior experience in franchising industry or experience with franchise legal requirements is preferred.
