Are you focused on customers, whether that’s by listening to them, identifying their needs, or delivering value to them? We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join us at Thinkific.

As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll be accountable for ensuring your portion of the product portfolio delivers value to our customers and supports the business objectives of Thinkific. You will collaborate with customers, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and various other departments to deliver successful solutions. You will provide ongoing thought leadership and set strategic direction in one or more product areas.

Your goal will be to articulate a compelling vision and roadmap for your product area; summarizing needs, value, and how they align with Thinkific’s business objectives. Here’s how you’ll accomplish this:

  • Research and develop an understanding of the “why based on market, customer needs, and business outcomes
  • Engage customers and Thinkific team members to gather insights on customer and market needs to inform and shape your direction
  • Work closely with Design and Engineering to ship solutions that drive customer value
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to realize the business outcomes from the solution
  • Analyze, retrospect, and learn from your work, framing up new opportunities and celebrating wins! Use our successes and failures to continually improve the practice of Product Management at Thinkific

The person we have in mind likely:

  • Has 5+ years of experience in a software product management role (SaaS preferred)
  • Possesses a track record of customer focus and business outcomes as a product manager, having led product initiatives with visible business impact
  • Is curious, analytical, and data-driven. You turn data into insights and channel many sources of information into a well-formed objective and strategy
  • Is customer-obsessed with a proven history of working with customers, getting into the details, and able to prioritize and ship products successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Is a creator in one or more capacities. At work, at home, in your personal life or in entrepreneurial ventures, you can’t stop yourself from using your intrinsic passion to create
  • Works cross-functionally, channeling multiple points of view while advocating your strategy with clear and actionable insights
  • Demonstrates a track record of getting things done. You creatively work through challenges or blockers, relentlessly prioritizing
  • Is interested in AI. You have taken a course or done research to build at least a basic understanding of this transformational technology
  • Has experience working in an agile development environment. You understand and participate in Agile ceremonies
  • Thrives in change and ambiguity. You have a can-do attitude about tackling new challenges and adapting to change
  • Has a willingness and ability to coach, mentor, and develop the people around you.
  • Loves to learn and grow. They’ve found (and keep looking for) ways to level up their skills in this field, whether that’s through formal education, gaining professional experience, or maybe even building their own business

The recruitment compensation range for this position is $129,000 - $161,000 CAD
