Job Summary
As an Inside Account Manager, you will be part of a solutions-focused and dedicated team driven by a desire to deliver quality solutions to help support educators and learners.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • Build Trafera’s client base thru account acquisition and growth of existing clients in school districts under 2500 students and government agencies.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment calling on leads, white space accounts, and marketing campaigns
  • Research market pricing and prepare proposals that are competitive while ensuring healthy gross margins for the organization
  • Position Trafera’s entire portfolio of products/solutions, services, and capabilities
  • Partner/build relationships with top tier manufacturers and distribution partners such as Lenovo, TD Synnex, and Google
  • Represent the organization at educational conferences and lunch and learns
  • Meet/exceed monthly behavior and sales goals
  • Leverage CRM system to document client conversations, sales, and forecasting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams pre and post sales
  • Self-study to build industry knowledge and stay on the cutting edge of technology in the SLED space

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunter mentality
  • Self-motivated and a passion for the education sector
  • Proven success in consultative sales, building solutions, and managing a large client base
  • Exceptional technical and non-technical communication skills
  • Accountable, high integrity, passionate and can effectively facilitate presentations in person or virtually
  • Self-study to build industry knowledge and stay on the cutting edge of technology in the educational vertical
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Education and Experience

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 2 years of phone/outside sales or equivalent classroom experience
    • Proven track record cold calling into the SLED space
    • Ability to work in office 2 days/week
  • Preferred:
    • 5+ years of Education Technology sales in the SLED space
    • Proven track record selling complex IT/AV solutions
    • Classroom instruction in the K-12 space
    • Experience with state contracts and RFPs
    • BA/BS degree

Essential and Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, being on telephone calls, and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
  • Ability to travel as needed
