Math and Reading Tutor Job type: Part-time, in-person Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Math and Science tutor to work with a gifted 4th grader in Katy/West Houston area on a one-to-one basis for in-home tutoring. The tutor will be responsible for developing personalized lesson plans that challenge and engage the student, as well as monitor progress and provide feedback to the student and parents. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement customized lesson plans based on the individual needs of the student
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment that motivates the student to learn and excel in Math and Reading
• Provide personalized instruction and support that caters to the student's learning style and pace
• Assess the student's progress regularly and adjust instructional methods as necessary
• Communicate with student's parents or guardians on a regular basis to keep them informed of the student's progress and areas of focus
• Utilize a variety of instructional materials and techniques to optimize student learning Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience teaching or tutoring math and reading subjects to students in elementary, middle or high school
• Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans
• Passion for teaching and helping students succeed
