Tutor Doctor of North Jersey is Hiring a Learning Coach!

At Tutor Doctor, we’ve been serving the North Jersey community for over 11 years, providing personalized, in-home tutoring that truly changes lives. We’re currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Learning Coach with a focus in executive functioning skills to work one-on-one with students in Ridgewood, NJ and surrounding areas. This role will focus on fostering a love for learning in a struggling student, building their confidence, supporting them and teaching essential skills like note-taking, organization, and study strategies. The ideal candidate will be someone who has their own strong executive functioning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create personalized sessions to engage the student and address their unique needs.
• Provide in-home coaching sessions designed to boost academic and personal growth.
• Track progress and communicate updates with parents and the Tutor Doctor team via session reports.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Teaching or Coaching Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with students (e.g., tutoring, teaching, coaching, mentoring).
• Education Background: Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or a related field preferred.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to connect with both students and parents.
• Reliable Transportation: Must be able to commute or be within a 15 mile radius of the Ridgewood, NJ areas.
