Tutor Doctor is a local tutoring company that has proudly served our community for over 11 years. We provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring that helps students build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and discover the joy in learning.

We are seeking a warm, engaging Early Childhood English Tutor to work with our youngest learners in the Wyckoff/Franklin Lakes area. The ideal candidate has experience teaching or tutoring little ones, preferably with a background in Pre-K or Kindergarten, and knows how to make learning fun and interactive.

Responsibilities:

Provide individualized instruction in early literacy, phonics, reading readiness, and beginner writing skills.

Create playful and interactive lessons that hold children’s attention.

Adapt teaching methods to each child’s unique learning style and developmental stage.

Communicate progress and updates to parents and Tutor Doctor staff.

Foster confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning in early learners.

Qualifications:

Experience teaching or tutoring young children, ideally Pre-K or Kindergarten.

Strong knowledge of early childhood education and foundational literacy.

Ability to create engaging, hands-on lessons.

Reliable transportation to student homes in the Wyckoff/Franklin Lakes area.

Flexible availability during after-school hours and/or weekends.
