Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Human Resource Specialist - Global (10+ Years Experience)
Location: Gurugram - Sector 33 (Onsite - 5 Days a Week)
Shift Time: 05:30 PM IST to 02:30 AM IST (US Shift)
Job Purpose:
As the Senior HR Generalist, Global, you will play a pivotal role in managing end-to-end HR operations for both the India and US teams within a SaaS-based, high-growth environment. This role requires strong expertise in US HR processes, including US payroll, 401(k), benefits administration, and US compliance, along with experience supporting a technology/SaaS workforce. You will collaborate closely with leadership to build a productive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding
● Facilitate onboarding for India and US employees by preparing all pre- and post-joining documents.
● Conduct new hire orientation and ensure seamless integration into the organization.
● Manage enrollment in medical insurance, PF, and 401(k), and other global benefit programs.
Employee Record & File Management
● Maintain accurate employee records: contracts, master files, annual review letters, and HRMS updates.
● Support legal teams in breach-of-contract cases or compliance concerns.
Employee Engagement
● Lead global engagement activities tailored for a SaaS workforce.
● Administer employee benefits programs (India + US), including health insurance, retirement plans, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
● Guide benefit utilization, claims, and employee queries.
Strategic Partnership
● Work closely with global leadership to align HR strategy with business goals in a fast-paced SaaS organizational setup.
● Support workforce planning, employee development, and retention initiatives.
Recruitment
● Partner with hiring managers to fulfill talent needs across departments, including CXO-level roles.
● Support hiring for SaaS/technology positions, ensuring strong cultural and role fit.
Performance Management
● Manage end-to-end performance cycles for India and US teams.
● Drive feedback mechanisms, ensure timely documentation, and maintain HR systems.
HR Policy & Compliance
● Ensure compliance with US Federal, India Federal, and Haryana State employment laws.
● Update and implement policies relevant to global SaaS operations.
HR Analytics
● Use HR data to identify trends, forecast workforce needs, and support strategic decisions.
● Develop dashboards and reports for leadership.
Offboarding
● Drive smooth offboarding for global employees.
● Manage removal from health insurance, 401(k) plans, and coordinate full and final settlements.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in HR.
● 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology organization.
● Mandatory: Experience working with US HR processes (payroll basics, benefits, 401(k), US compliance & employee documentation).
● Minimum 3–5 years in a strategic HRBP or senior HR generalist role.
● Strong understanding of US Federal labor laws, Indian labor laws, and state-specific regulations.
● Excellent Excel (VLOOKUP, sorting, filtering) and PowerPoint skills.
● Strong analytical and HRIS/ATS experience (preferably SaaS HR tools).
● Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
● Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
● Experience managing background checks and reference checks for senior-level (CXO) roles.
● Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced, global environments.
