UWorld is looking for experienced college professors with a strong teaching background in the sciences to develop video lectures for students who are pre-health science majors. This is an independent contractor position, where you will work on a team of video lecturers to create engaging video content that accompanies UWorld’s educational materials.

Minimum education required

• Master’s degree or higher in one of the following: Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Biochemistry, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or Physics

Minimum experience required

• Experience teaching at least one of the following courses at the undergraduate level (2+ years preferred):
  • Biology or Anatomy and Physiology
  • Biochemistry, General Chemistry, or Organic Chemistry
  • Physics
• Experience making educational videos or lectures (1+ year)
• Experience in science communication is a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite products

Job responsibilities

Reports to the Team Lead of Video Content Development in the Pre-Health Department

• Develop slideshows for video lectures and cohesive scripts
• Produce preliminary video recordings of video lectures
• Receive, apply, and give constructive feedback on video lectures
• Work with video production team to deliver a finished product
• Collaborate with management to ensure project deadlines are met

Compensation and Benefit

• Up to $40 per hour
