ESL Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to spearhead the sales efforts for our ESL product lines targeted towards school districts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in educational sales, particularly in the ESL and ELA domains, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with school district decision-makers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets for ESL products focusing on school districts, governments, etc .
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the education sector
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and value proposition of our ESL solutions, tailored to the needs and requirements of individual school districts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales collateral, presentations, and promotional materials that effectively communicate the unique selling points of our ESL products.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support, training, and product updates to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and changes in educational standards or regulations that may impact the demand for ESL and ELA products, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates for management review, utilizing CRM software or other sales tracking tools as necessary.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand brand awareness and generate leads within the education community.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including product development, customer support, and finance, to address customer needs and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Continuously strive to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques through training programs, workshops, and self-directed learning activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree .
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational sales, with a proven track record of success in selling ESL and / or ELA products or related educational solutions to school districts.
  • Strong understanding of the K-12 education market, curriculum standards, and purchasing processes within school districts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including educators, administrators, and corporate executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, manage complex sales cycles, and negotiate contracts with large organizations.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving growth and making a positive impact in education.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (maybe 1-2 times a year for conferences, team meet ups)
