Wall Street English is currently looking for a Teaching and Service Coordinator to join us in Muscat, Oman.

As Teaching and Service Coordinator, you report to the Sales Manager and will be the ambassador and leader of educational excellence in your center. You’ll be responsible for leading and managing the Service team which will include Teachers, Customer Service Representatives (Personal Tutors) and Receptionists. As the figure responsible for the Students’ educational success and satisfaction throughout their course, you will spend much of your time overseeing each function’s activities, according to Standard Operating Procedures and will suggest improvement opportunities when possible to ensure that levels of service always exceed expectation. To achieve this, you will be required to work in synergy with your Sales Manager and sales team to convert potential customer into students, promote internal sales through student renewals and encourage friend and family referrals from current and previous students.

What You Will Be Doing

Service Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed, maintaining consistency with the global brand and quality control.
  • Partner with the Sales Team to create a strong collaboration, ensuring internal sales targets are achieved without compromising the quality of the students' educational experience.
  • Guarantee internal sales by working with the Sales Team and utilizing the Client Fidelity Program.
  • Schedule staff to meet the needs of the students and align with the center’s opening hours.
  • Conduct effective meetings with Service and Sales staff according to Standard Operating Procedures and the center’s requirements.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, develop, and coach staff to consistently provide premium service.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources Department to support continuous staff development, maintaining staff retention and job satisfaction.
  • Track, analyze, and report on teaching and service performances, providing solutions for improvements to ensure service levels always exceed expectations.
  • Implement new products and systems as needed.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports to the Center Manager.
  • Maintain the center’s image and IT assets.
  • Perform other roles and responsibilities as required by the center.

Teaching Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Lead the team by example to ensure a premium educational experience for students.
  • Create an inspiring and motivating environment, in collaboration with the Service Team, for students and alumni to engage and learn English in-center, online, and in real-life.
  • Promote the Wall Street English methods, encouraging effective use by staff and students.
  • Ensure student satisfaction and learning levels exceed expected benchmarks.
  • Teach according to the needs and requirements of the center.
  • Oversee all corporate teaching contracts, ensuring a consistent learning experience whether on-site or off-site.
  • Control educational standards through teaching encounters, complementary classes, social club activities, and conducting initial lessons when required.
  • Manage a monthly Social Club Calendar to foster and grow an in-center community.
  • Drive engagement among staff, students, and alumni in complementary informal learning communities using digital tools, social media, and in-center promotion.
  • Perform other roles and responsibilities as required by the position.

Your Profile

  • University degree in Education, English, TESOL, or English Translation
  • CELTA or equivalent certificate in TEFL

Nice to Have

  • Experience in leading, motivating, and developing a team of people from diverse backgrounds and skills
  • Staff management and/or course coordinator experience
  • Two plus years of teaching experience
  • Commercial or sales experience in an educational field
