Wall Street English is looking for a confident, self-starting HR and Administration Manager.

Based in Hong Kong, this part-time role will work closely with the VP of Human Resources and the Executive Chairman to execute and support HR and office administration functions. This includes liaising with Wall Street English personnel in HR, Finance, Legal, and IT administration regarding business matters in Hong Kong.

What You Will Be Doing

Human Resources

  • Independently handle payroll administration for Wall Street English employees based in Hong Kong
  • Liaise with vendors to manage benefits administration such as life insurance, medical insurance, pension, business insurance, and employee compensation
  • Declare Hong Kong local taxation for employees on local contracts
  • Liaise with the tax consulting company regarding tax declarations for expats to ensure compliance with tax regulations
  • Provide support for other Wall Street English International offices when needed

Office and Administrative

  • Provide administrative support to senior management, such as travel arrangements, office supplies replenishment, organizing meetings, and managing third-party expenses
  • Provide logistical support for meetings (in-office/off-site) in Hong Kong
  • Provide monthly expense summary reports to Finance
  • Support ad hoc assignments, report preparation, and other administrative duties

Finance/Legal Operations

  • Provide weekly AP invoice and petty cash reports to the finance team based in Spain
  • Handle legal documents, including signatures and transfers between Wall Street English offices (Hong Kong, Spain, and Italy) on behalf of the Executive Chairman

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communication, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources operations
  • Minimum 5 years of office administration experience, including dealing with vendors and suppliers
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written Chinese and English
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (or the awareness to develop them)
  • Independent worker with strong organizational and planning skills
  • Diligent and detail-oriented
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Comfortable working with technology, Microsoft Office applications, and social media

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the EdTech sector or education space
  • Payroll experience is a bonus

Hybrid Work Arrangement: 1 day in office and 2 days working from home.
