It is also providing online courses, live lessons, and homework help for kindergarten to 12th-grade students. Zuoyebang is backed by Chinese search firm Baidu as well as its investors, which include Alibaba Group, Tiger Global Management, SoftBank Vision Fund, Sequoia Capital China, and FountainVest Partners. Hou Jianbin founded the company in Beijing, China, in 2014.
