Role Overview: Curriculum Architect

Masterschool is searching for an innovative Curriculum Architect to take the lead in developing, enhancing, and continuously updating our curriculum across various tech programs, including Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Data Analysis. The ideal candidate will ensure our curriculum is at the forefront of educational standards and industry relevance, focusing on creating content that empowers student success and career readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Development and Content Creation: Direct the development and ongoing refinement of the curriculum for each program, taking an active role in creating educational content that aligns with our goals, industry standards, and the latest technological advancements.
  • Industry Trends Analysis: Constantly research and integrate the latest industry trends and demands into the curriculum, ensuring our graduates are prepared to excel in the workforce.
  • Collaborative Curriculum Adaptation: Collaborate with School Leads and Program Owners to customize and evolve the curriculum based on direct feedback from students, instructors, and external stakeholders, maintaining its relevance and effectiveness.
  • Educational Materials and Resources Production: Oversee the development, selection, and curation of comprehensive educational materials, including lectures, projects, and assessments, to facilitate impactful and effective learning experiences.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to instructors and mentors on new curriculum materials and teaching methodologies to ensure consistent, high-quality program delivery.
  • Evaluation and Improvement: Implement a feedback loop for evaluating the effectiveness of the curriculum through student performance and feedback, initiating iterative improvements to optimize educational outcomes.

Qualifications

  • An advanced degree in education, curriculum development, or a related field, with specialization in the school's domain (e.g., software engineering, cybersecurity, data analysis).
  • Extensive experience in curriculum design and development, demonstrated by the creation of impactful educational content and programs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current industry trends, technologies, and practices in the relevant fields.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, capable of effectively engaging with educators, industry experts, and stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead curriculum development projects from concept to completion and ongoing refinement.
