Job Description:
The Senior Product Marketing Manager will develop and lead the positioning and messaging for our literacy products. As a leader on the Product Marketing team, you will build awareness of our solutions and articulate how our solutions help schools and educators meet students’ needs in a clear and differentiated way. You will partner closely with internal teams including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Educator Success to inform your work and gain cross-functional alignment.
In this role, you will bring strong written and presentation skills, a passion for serving educators, and the ability to synthesize complex pedagogical details and sensitively address some of the biggest topics in education. You should enjoy collaborative problem solving, marrying data with stories, translating complex ideas, and managing cross-functional projects. You should also deeply understand the K–12 literacy landscape, be passionate about the power high-quality curricular materials, and eager to support educator-focused solutions that elevate their practice and drive student growth.
The impact you'll have:
1. Deeply understand the market and our customers
- Conduct new and leverage existing market research, competitive analyses, and customer insights to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product differentiation.
- Create buyer personas, buyer journey maps, and clearly articulate customer needs across the organization that are grounded in research.
- Develop comprehensive competitive battlecards for the sales team, providing them with valuable insights, messaging strategies, and competitive positioning to effectively differentiate our products and win against competitors in the market.
2. Create best-in-class product positioning and messaging
- Develop deep product expertise and become a subject matter expert in support of educators and our Sales and Service teams.
- Create compelling positioning and messaging to succinctly articulate how our core literacy offerings uniquely benefit educators.
- Bring differentiated messaging to life with high-impact marketing collateral and sales tools, including PowerPoints, brochures, website content, and videos to support sales and marketing efforts.
3. Go-to-market strategy and planning
- Collaborate with Product Management to influence product roadmap decisions, prioritize features, and drive product innovation based on market feedback and competitive intelligence.
- Draft product launch and release plans for review by stakeholders, collaborate with creative, campaign and regional teams to implement plans in market
4. Cross-functional collaboration and communication
- Foster strong cross-functional communication and collaboration by effectively liaising between product management, sales, marketing, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment on product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies, ultimately driving cohesive execution and success across all functions.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in Product Marketing,
- Proven ability to lead projects and cross functional teams; experience managing multiple projects.
- Proficient with Programs and Applications like Outlook, SalesForce.com, Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS365, CRM, Marketing Automation tools and search engines).
Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay Range – This role’s range is $81,500- $139,500. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
