As the Career Matching Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our U.S. apprenticeship initiatives, helping to scale our programs, and ensuring our candidates are well-prepared and matched with the right employers. This role is pivotal to our mission of making education accessible to all, and you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our global career-matching programs.

- Location: We are a remote-first company and while you'll work from home, you must be based in the USA. We are currently only accepting applicants from the following locations: New York, Illinois, Georgia, Wisconsin, District of Columbia, Washington state, Florida, Texas, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, Virginia, California, Arizona

As the Career Matching Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our U.S. apprenticeship initiatives, helping to scale our programs, and ensuring our candidates are well-prepared and matched with the right employers. This role is pivotal to our mission of making education accessible to all, and you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our global career-matching programs.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate Preparation and Matching: Ensure candidates are well-prepared for employer engagement by overseeing resume reviews, interview preparation, and readiness activities. Identify and match suitable candidates to employers, ensuring alignment between candidate skills and employer needs.
- Employer Relations and Advocacy: Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, providing insights to encourage them to interview and hire candidates. Advocate for candidates by offering context and support throughout the hiring process.
- CRM and Process Management: Oversee the manual CRM system to track interactions accurately and document processes to create a scalable, globally replicable playbook.
- Contractor and Cross-functional Collaboration: Manage and support a team of career coaching contractors, ensuring they have the tools and training needed. Collaborate with internal teams like Sales, Admissions, Data, Learning, and Product to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- International Placement Management: Oversee career coaching activities for placements in both the UK and US markets, managing apprenticeship and direct employment opportunities.
This job will report to Lisa Skelly, Senior Director of Customer Success and Accreditation.
About You :
- Passionate About Education and Workforce Development: A true passion for education, job training, and job placement, coupled with a deep commitment to helping others succeed.
- Skilled in talent matching and recruitment: you are an expert in aligning talent with roles, managing recruitment processes, and handling multiple projects with exceptional organizational skills.
- Proven experience working with registered apprenticeship programs, with a track record of over-achieving quota and being driven by successful outcomes.
- Proficient with CRM and SaaS Tools: Skilled in CRM systems (especially Salesforce), SaaS tools, Learning Management Systems, and digital presentation platforms, with a knack for optimizing new technologies.
- Proactive and Innovative: A natural problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a drive to achieve measurable outcomes, employing a proactive and innovative mindset.
- You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a startup mindset, quickly adapting to changes and new challenges.
- Results-driven and Efficient: Sets and exceeds goals while enhancing productivity through streamlined processes and operational efficiencies.
- Organizational Skills: Strong project management abilities, adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines effectively.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates, employers, and internal teams.
- Independent and Collaborative: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative, performance-focused, and KPI-oriented environment.
- Team Dynamics: While this role will not have direct reports, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and influence outcomes across various departments.
- Language Skills: Native English proficiency, ensuring clear and effective communication in all interactions.

- Final interview (30min) : virtual interview with Jeremy Durand (Senior VP International)
