Position Summary
As the Product Manager, you will own the strategy, growth, and lifecycle management of TrueLearn's workforce management and compliance solutions. You will initially focus on "Professional" products targeting post-graduate clinicians who have completed formal education and are active in professional practice. You will oversee a diverse product family encompassing Medality Compliance, healthcare Job Boards, CME/CE content development, and eCommerce solutions. Additionally, this position offers an impactful career advancement opportunity in leadership, as you will initially be responsible for directly managing, mentoring, and supporting a dedicated Product Owner to guide their professional growth and day-to-day execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Growth: Own the lifecycle, long-term strategy, and revenue growth for all post-graduate "Professional" products.
- Medality Compliance: Coordinate partner testing cycles, manage feature enhancements, and lead platform integrations (e.g., CredentialStream, external CME providers).
- Vendor / Partner Relationships: Maintain and form new key relationships with industry partners and vendors to deliver the products and solutions our customers need.
- Job Boards & Recruitment: Scale active user metrics and other engagement KPIs, use data to iterate on new pricing and packaging ideas, and drive cross-functional alignment for upcoming recruitment initiatives.
- Editorial & CME Support: Project manage launch timelines and product tasks for upcoming content expansions and ACCME accreditation, aligning value propositions with marketing and sales enablement.
- Go To Market Support: Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure our products are rolled out smoothly and successfully adopted by customers.
- eCommerce & Billing: Facilitate requirements for account setup, checkout flows, and sub-billing workflows across the ecosystem using core platform tools (e.g., Chargebee).
- People Management: Directly supervise, coach, and mentor a Product Owner to guide their daily feature execution and support their long-term career growth.
- Requirements
- Experience: 1–2 years of direct experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Owner.
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Data-first approach to daily work. Proven capability to look at product lines holistically, using metrics to balance long-term strategic plans against near-term feature backlogs.
- Leadership Readiness: Shows skills and aptitude for management, with the readiness to step into a role that involves coaching and developing a direct report.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of partnering closely with engineering, data science, marketing, sales, and content editorial teams.
- Detail-Oriented & Adaptable: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable navigating ambiguous scenarios to turn customer feedback into actionable roadmap execution.
- Technical Familiarity: Solid understanding of administrator software tools, managing external integrations, or navigating digital billing and subscription ecosystems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Expertise: Experience working in healthcare technology, digital continuing medical education (CME/CE), clinician compliance tracking, or healthcare recruitment platforms.
