About you

About this role

The Director, Global Compensation will be a key member of the Total Rewards team. You will apply your knowledge and experience of managing our global compensation function by planning, developing, and implementing new and existing compensation programs. You will refine our global compensation philosophy to ensure that our compensation programs remain competitive and compliant with local laws. You will partner with our Head of Total Rewards and other key stakeholders such as leaders, managers, People Partners, Finance, etc to provide insights and recommendations for our remuneration programs. You will shape and deliver Compensation related education programs to a variety of learners.

What you'll be doing:

  • Utilize global perspectives to inform & drive improvements to current compensation philosophy and structure through market-based analysis and research & ongoing participation and selection of relevant survey tools
  • Provide cost modeling analysis of compensation related matters for financial impact
  • Provide expertise on international compensation design and program best practices
  • Lead our global Total Rewards' cycles
  • Implement process improvement and efficiencies In partnership with our cross-functional global partners including developing and delivering training and education programs for employees and leaders to enhance total rewards knowledge
  • Ensure that our current compensation programs are in compliance with international, federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations

What you’ll have:

  • Extensive experience with managing international tech company compensation & equity programs
  • Experience with FLSA analysis and other compensation legislated requirements is required
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to “tell a story” with data
  • You have extensive experience managing focal merit and bonus programs
  • Strong Systems skills - including - compensation modeling and analytics skills with Excel skills including advanced features (pivot tables, look-ups, macros); implementing compensation modules within Workday
  • Proven ability to work well with cross-functional teams to improve workstreams
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Investor Overview

The hiring range for this position is $200,000 - $275,000. Actual compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for benefits and equity.
